Ready to Move the Windows Phone resurgence The Competitors

As a mobile operating system that still dominate the market, Android and iOS are still far behind its competitors. But for some time, Windows Phone OS from Microsoft showed significant growth.

Based research firm IDC, compared to other Windows Phone OS has grown significantly over the other OS. In Q2 2012, Windows Phone sold 4.9 million units and jumped in the 2nd quarter of this year with shipments of 8.7 million units, up 77.6%.

Android is only able to compensate for an increase in Windows Phone with 73.5% growth. However, Windows Phone's market share remains small at 3.7%. Compare with Android leads with 79.3%. But it is not impossible that Windows Phone will bring meaningful competition if it continues to be consistent in its growth.

As for iOS currently holds a market share of 13.2%, down from the previous 17.3%. This decline may be triggered by the lack of a new version of the iPhone product. Ramon Llamas of IDC says that Apple's market share is threatened by new products from competitors, cause no new product launch since the debut of the iPhone 5 is almost a year ago. But when the new iPhone rolled products, Apple is projected to climb back.

Nokia has a big hand in improving the Windows Phone OS and the series continues to release new models at affordable prices. Nokia recorded 81.6% earned percentage of all Windows Phone sold. "It is clear that Nokia is the main driver of the Windows Phone platform and we expect to continue," said Ramon Llamas of IDC via TechRadar
